Play begins at 7 p.m. ET on Monday evening, which is bright and early on Tuesday in Melbourne. Play will run through the evening in the United States, ending at 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The Tennis Channel will have coverage from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., when ESPN 2 will pick it up and run through the end of play.

WatchESPN will have live streaming of all courts throughout the night.

Garbine Muguruza, the third-seed woman, will be against Jessika Ponchet. No. 6 Karolina Pliskova, No. 8 Caroline Garcia and No. 9 Johanna Konta are all top-10-seeded women who will be in action on Day 2. Veronica Cepede Royg, Carina Witthoeft and Madison Brengle will be their opponents, respectively.

On the men’s side, No 4 Alexander Zverev, No. 5 Dominic Thiem, No. 7 David Goffin and No. 9 Stan Wawrinka will all be playing. Their opponents are Thomas Fabbiano, Guido Pella, Matthias Bachringer and Ricardas Berankis, respectively. There are a slew of other seeded players in both brackets playing on the day.
